Olympic Medal Alerts app for iPhone and iPad

Olympic sports fans can keep track of all the latest action with the Official Olympic Games Medal Alert app.
The Olympic Medal Alert app will tell you instantly when an Olympic medal is won in your favourite sports or by an athlete, team or National Olympic Committee (NOC) that you follow.
The app is free and simple to use.
To see upcoming medal events and recent results in your favourite sports, simply choose the event or events that you are interested in and the country or countries that you follow.
You will see details of all upcoming events in your favourite sports as well as all any recent results. Plus, you can register to receive alerts via email or text/SMS whenever an Olympic medal event takes place.
You can follow any number of teams, individuals, events, sports or NOCs.
Once you have chosen your preferred events, teams or NOCs, you simply give your name and email address and/or mobile phone number and specify whether you want to receive email or SMS/text alerts.
You should also give your country location. This will enable the app to give you a link to the website of the rights-holding broadcaster for your country so you can watch Olympic sport online.
After registration is complete, you will be sent a message to alert you to any upcoming medal event in the sports you’re following or whenever a medal is won by the individual, team or NOC you’ve registered an interest in.
Your personal information is retained only for the purposes of sending you these alerts. None of your details will be retained by the International Olympic Committee for any other purpose. You can choose to opt out of receiving alerts at any time.
